Photography Projects for 2008
I thought I’d make a list of things I want to have a go at doing photographically this year. Lots of ideas come to mind for things to have a go at, but usually they just stay as ideas – especially if they need planning – like scouting out a good spot for night time traffic trails or capturing a sunrise.
So, I’ve made a list, and although I’m not aiming to tick every single thing off during the year, I want to have made a good effort and attempted a large number of them. I’m going to be adding to it as well as I think of things, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to let me know. The items on the list vary from easy and simple things to more complicated ones so the suggestions don’t have to be large grand projects!

“Traffic trails on a photogenic road”
I’ve heard there is such a place in Loughborough, some hill which you can access by road. Interested?

Moonlight photos are very tricky. I’ve tried a few times but the results were very disappointing. Good luck!

That’s a good list. I took far too few photographs in 2007, and plan to rectify that this year. I think I’ll make a list of my own to help keep the momentum going.

@Hitesh – thanks for the offer – I have a bridge that I go over on my way home from work that I’m going to give a go first, but I’ve not been to Loughborough for probably 15 years so it might be nice to get over there at some point.
@Roger – I did try using my little Canon Ixus when I was on a bike ride in Sherwood Forest one night – there was a lot of mist and it looked marvellous – my photos were awful though – so I think I need to do a bit of research before trying that one.
@greywulf – I reckon once you’ve ticked a few off the ball is rolling then encouraging you to carry on. Good luck with it :)

Can’t load your list, must be as busy as the Picture This website. Thanks for posting though – was going to tag you on this in a similar post, now I’ll be linking instead.
